This local gal can be found at the barre, in the pool, and in the lulu. Her smile and sweat-loving energy can be found in yoga poses and MAD workouts around town, ever the purveyor of fitness and fun.

Describe what you do in town.

During the school year, I work at Venable Elementary School teaching Kindergarten. On my off hours you can see me at Pure Barre Charlottesville and lululemon athletica Charlottesville!

In the summertime, I am the head coach at Fry’s Spring Beach Club and run SWIM S’COOL, a local learn-to-swim program that aims to provide young swimmers a safe and child friendly environment where they learn basic safety skills and become comfortable in the water.

Top Picks

A favorite dish in town.

Gourmet Grilled Cheese at Citizen Burger Bar. OMG, this thing is ridiculously sinful. Great with grilled chicken (because it sounds healthier) and truffle fries.

A favorite drink in town.

Jack’s Java Espresso Stout at Three Notch’d Brewing. A perfect marriage between my two favorite local brewing companies and the best way to end the day after Pure Barre or a run with friends. Love their outside front patio!

A favorite weekly or monthly food special.

Monday Yappy Hour at Fry’s Spring Station. Great specials on local brews, wine, and pizza. They’ll give your pup a bowl of water, too!
