Dressing Up with Darling: Holiday Fête Style

Whether you’re spending Thanksgiving near or far, with friends or family, the key to your holiday fête is to be comfortably chic. Cozy textures with a little sparkle or whimsy go a long way – and help you stay comfortable during your feasting! For this Dressing Up with Darling, we styled two holiday outfits – one for a Thanksgiving dinner with family and one for a Friendsgiving party with your pals. Both looks incorporate a cozy sweater, each with their own twist and styling.

Thanksgiving | Cozy Sweater + Sparkly Skirt 

This is one of my favorite looks for a holiday party or a formal Thanksgiving dinner with family. Mixing textures is a fun way to add interest to an outfit, and I love how this knit sweater dresses down a sparkly pencil skirt.

Friendsgiving | Cozy Sweater + Leather Skirt 

For a dinner party with friends, also known as Friendsgiving, a more playful outfit is certainly called for. A cropped sweater and a high-waisted leather circle skirt is ultra flattering on the waistline. Top it off with a top knot and your favorite fall booties for a casual but whimsical holiday party look.
