Billy Hunt

He’s a one-of-a-kind creative, a maker and documenter of life. He rocked our asana’s with his mixes last year at Strong Man Yoga, where we had an absolute blast while supporting a great cause. He also rocked audiences at the 2013 Virginia Film Festival, alongside creative partner-in-crime Brian Wimer, with the premiere of CLAW – The Movie. Basically, he rocks.

Top Picks

A favorite weekly or monthly food special.

I will pick a daily. I love eating at the Blue Ridge Country Store at lunch. Where else can you get Twin Oaks tofu and Ranch Flavored Corn Nuts on your salad. So cheap, so delicious!

A favorite local musician.

Disco Deke at #UpTheHustle! He’s so . . . . disco.

A favorite dish in town.

I can’t pick just one! I do like filling myself up on delicious pork products at Mas. The hammier, the better.

A favorite local artist.

Susie Welsh, she does multimedia installations. Very cerebral. I have to have smart-o’s for breakfast to follow.
