Micah LeMon
Known around Cville as the guy who makes incredibly delicious libations, Micah LeMon is a class act. Ask for a Sazerac. You won’t be disappointed.
Describe what you do in town.
I work at The Alley Light restaurant, where I manage the beverage program. I love making balanced cocktails, gardening, home brewing, cooking, and having porch beverages with my girlfriend Amanda and our dog, Cayda.

An Old Fart at Heart
A favorite dish in town.
Ten Hamachi. A deceptively deft balance of salty, meaty, buttery, spicy, acid, and freshness in a simple plate.
A favorite weekly or monthly food special.
$5 wings and trivia on Tuesdays at McGrady’s. It’s my neighborhood bar, and I love going every week to meet friends, drink drinks, and learn stuff. And eat wings. So much fun.
A favorite local musician.
Luke Smith from the Blooddrunk Trolls. Transparency: he is my future brother-in-law, but he’s an incredibly talented musician, whose repertoire spans from death metal to country. It’s tough to hear his metal music and not throw goats.

[…] Choice. I love to go into Alley Light and order whatever special new cocktail is on the board or let the bartenders create something brilliant with rum or whiskey. They’re so on point. Every spontaneous drink they’ve whipped up […]
