Describe what you do in town (whether it be your job or local interest/involvement in Cville).
I manage the local Lululemon Showroom here in Cville. My job is entrepreneurial at its finest. My team and I work to connect with the local health and fitness community on an authentic level in an effort to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness… no easy task, but we’re up for the challenge.
Describe yourself in 5 syllables or less.
Mom, Athlete, Adventuresome… Sorry, that was more than five.
Top Picks
A favorite dish in town, what it’s called, where it’s at, describe what makes it special/different/one of your favorites
Burrata at Tavola. When this is on the menu you MUST try it! The cheese melts in your mouth and pairs perfectly with the warm crispy bread. Its the perfect way to start your meal, along with a full bodied cabernet sauvignon. Since its not always on the menu, it really is a special treat.
A favorite drink in town, what it’s called, where it’s at, describe what makes it special/different/one of your favorites
Virginia Mule at Citizen Burger Bar. Growing up in the Midwest I always feel like I should pair my burger with a cold beer, but the ginger paired with Virginia vodka is so refreshing, I just can’t resist!
A favorite local fitness class, name of the class, fitness center, brief description of the class and why you love it
In a town like Cville it’s tough to choose a favorite workout and working for lululemon I have the luxury of sweating in all the local studios. So, when I create my sweat schedule for the week, I like to try and tailor the ideal mix of intense interval training, running, yoga and barre. When my body needs a good stretch or proper alignment, Pilates always does the trick. I find that a combination of these exercises makes me my best self both mentally and physically.
