Top 3 Local Picks

Favorite drink in town, what it’s called, where it’s at, describe what makes it special/different/one of your favorites.

Bang!’s Swingtini. It’s dirty, it’s twisted, it’s perfect. I’ve requested this cocktail (a gin and vodka martini with an olive and a twist) at other bars and bartender always says I’m weird, they’ve never heard of an olive and a twist together.

Favorite local musician, name of the musician, type of music, your favorite local show that featured them.

Arana y Compas, i.e. Miles Pearce and Megan Sprague, play beautiful Spanish music. I especially enjoy hearing them at small venues like Maya (or my living room! 🙂 ).

Favorite local fitness class, name of the class, fitness center, brief description of the class and why you love it.

Can I say Dance Conditioning on Tuesdays and Thursdays at ACAC? I might be just a little biased since I created it and teach it but it’s an awesome, fun workout! I’ve pulled from my background in modern dance, yoga, and Pilates to provide a full body workout that emphasis’s balance, coordination, and alignment. I love it because it’s a great and appropriate workout for all ages and fitness levels and it makes my ass sore.
