Savor The Season

Virginia is not an amateur when it comes to the topic of wine. The city of Charlottesville alone boasts of more than 20 wineries in its surrounding areas. Now, while some of you may find more than a dozen wineries to choose from too much to think about, it shouldn’t keep you from trying to be on the lookout for something different.

Whether you are a fan of wine or not, you may be interested in visiting Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards for their Savor The Season events this fall. Located only about 20 minutes south from the center of Charlottesville, these gatherings at Pippin Hill offer guests an evening of wine, fall-inspired food, and an incredible view of the sun setting over the Blue Ridge Mountains. Complete with a wood-burning oven, the winery offers selections including fresh baked pizza, caramel popcorn, and spiced cider.

Pippin Hill will be offering the Savor the Season events this month on select Thursdays evening (October 4th and 18th) from 5-8pm. With the fall season well under way and the weather turning colder, this is sure to be a great evening for those that can make it out.
