Val Morini of Pure Barre Charlottesville is calling out to all fitness enthusiasts, experimentalists, occasionalists, and never-seen-the-inside-of-a-gym-ists to celebrate and join the Pure Barre revolution.
The Grand Opening Party of the studio will take place this Friday, September 21, at Pure Barre Studios (2200 Old Ivy Road, Suite 101) and will include food, drink, and an opportunity to meet the Pure Barre Charlottesville instructors sans the lululemon ensemble.
One of the core tenets of Pure Barre’s philosophy is its appeal to all levels of fitness. A typical class lasts 55 minutes and consists of intensely focused exercises designed to target specific muscle groups throughout the body, followed by strategic stretching to lengthen lean muscle. Cakewalk, right?
As Val explains, the classes are structured in such a way that any woman of any fitness level can attend a class and perform the exercises to her athletic limits, thereby building her own strength and confidence. Because the exercises target traditional problem areas for women, the results are direct and noticeable. Many clients, Val says, have dropped inches on their waist, thighs, and butt. Additionally, the Pure Barre team continuously changes class routines and exercises to make classes interesting and keep clients engaged.
Classes are offered Monday through Friday at 6am, noon, and 4:15pm, and at 6:30pm Monday through Thursday. Membership costs vary; the “New Client Special” is $100 for a month of unlimited classes, after which clients can decide if they want to purchase a class punch card of 5, 10, 20, or unlimited classes. The student single month for unlimited classes is $180 and there is a semester pack for $400.
So what are you waiting for, Cville? Get your bods to the barre!
