Would you like to know how to make this?

When was the last time you had anything planned for a Monday night?

Unless you’re one of the most social people out there, it’s probably been a while. In case you’re looking for something different or fun, you might be interested in participating in a demo cooking class at The Charlottesville Cooking School.

Located in the Meadowbrook Shopping Centre (across from Barracks Road Shopping Center), the Charlottesville Cooking School specializes in hands-on cooking classes, ranging from those who are rarely step into the kitchen, to the professional chef who wants to sharpen his/her skills a little more.

Classes also range in the types of cuisine styles, culinary skills, and courses. Now, for those of you who may not have the time to take part in a 3-hour class, or pay the $75-80 for the course, you might be interested in their smaller and more affordable demo cooking classes. Priced at around $45 and lasting only 2 hours, the classes still offer an assortment of cooking knowledge. This evening they offered a demo class on making advanced desserts; however, don’t worry, they will be offering a similar dessert later in the year. If you’re interesting in taking part in one of their classes, you can call the store for details or sign-up online.

Take a look at their calendar to see what else they have to offer. Chances are, they’ll have something you’ll want to try.
