Love bluegrass? Have a secret obsession with the ultra catchy mega-hits of the 80’s? Wish that there was a way to combine the two into the craziest, most amazing musical experiment ever? Then come to the Jefferson Theater on Wednesday night to have your mind blown – “it will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will blind you with SCIENCE!!!”

The local 80’s cover band Love Canon consists of Jesse Harper (guitar), Adam Larrabee (jazz guitar/banjo/mandolin), Andy Thacker (mandolin), Nate Leath (fiddle), and Zachariah Hickman (bass, member of Josh Ritter and the Royal City Band). Jesse and Nate also performed together in the Charlottesville-based acoustic group Old School Freight Train.

Love Canon is almost finished with their first CD, but don’t wait until the release party to check out this incredibly talented and extremely entertaining band – go to their FREE SHOW on Wednesday, 8 p.m., at the Jefferson Theater (110 East Main St., Charlottesville, VA, 22902), where they will be performing with one of Charlottesville’s best singer-songwriters, Carl Anderson!  This is one show you definitely don’t want to miss!

Just to give you a taste…
