Benefit Concert at The Garden

Hello, Cville Niche Buzz!
I’m Harrison from Live Music Is Good. I’m very excited to invite you to a variety show, this coming Saturday, January 15, that benefits Cville’s homeless community. This event will feature music, art, spoken word, acting, and film from some of our local favorites.
Doors open at 7pm and the performances are from 8-10pm.
The performers include:
Carl Anderson
David Tewksbury
Evans Lewis
Bernard Hankins
Presence Theatre Group
The Parking Lot Movie (clip)
Face2Facebook (short film)
The music of Abel Okugawa
This winter, our homeless neighbors need: ear muffs, cough drops, socks, toilet paper, hand warmers, hats, scarves, gloves, or even snuggies. Bring these items as your admission fee. (While these items are encouraged, we will accept money as well.) Donations will benefit PACEM, a coalition of religious communities providing shelter for the homeless during the winter months.
Speaking of which, don’t let the location name fool you. The event will be in the warmth of the indoors. Check out pictures of the wonderful space known as “The Garden” below:
For more info, check out the Facebook event at this link:
Hope to see you Saturday!
