Music. Music. Music. And more music! Us C-villians, we love music and we love our local music even more.
Marc Adams is a musician, artist, film maker, and Charlottesville resident who has played with many jazz and rock musicians in town and across the nation. Returning to the Virginia Film Festival with his sophomore film, “Something In The Water,” he tells the story of why Charlottesville is so saturated with great music and musicians… maybe there’s “Something In The Water.”
The celebration of the 25th year anniversary of the Virginia Film Festival is a perfect setting to premier a film paying homage to 25+ years of music from our beloved host city of Charlottesville. Having footage of over 60 interviews and live shows, this documentary displays aspects of our thriving music scene previously unseen by most residents or tourists from the perspective of a local musician himself.
With over 300 musicians in the film alone, Vinegar Hill Theater is expected to be filled for the screening on Friday, November 2nd at 10pm. So get a ticket while you can!
