Mutts and Margs: two of the greatest delights on this fine earth.
On Thursday, September 27th from 5-8 p.m. at La Taza in Belmont, they will be together in one place for Mutts and Margaritas. No, this is not a joke. The Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA, along with Dixon Disposal, Snows Garden Center, Able Insurance, and Preston Morris CPAs are intertwining adoptable dogs and margaritas for an evening benefiting the CASPCA. And for that, all we can say is: Thank You.
This fundraiser has been created to garner dollar donation votes for local dancer Julie “Bootscootin” Bonistalli, who will be a contestant in this year’s “Boot Scootin Boogie” Critter Ball. The Critter Ball, which will take place on October 6th at UVa’s Slaughter Recreation Center, is another great event that gives to the animals of the CASPCA. It will feature about a dozen dancers who will boogie down to the death as they compete in the 4th Annual Charlottesville Celebrity Dance Competition. The celebs will be dancing for your entertainment, and for your donations. Dollar donations will be counted as votes as you cheer your favorite dancer on to victory. Get to know the contestants and to vote/donate now!
The ball will also include dinner & cocktails, live & silent auctions, and dancing for guests. Tickets, tables and sponsorships can all be purchased on the Get your tickets!
Recap: the opportunity to play with/adopt a dog, drink a margarita and support your local SPCA is coming up this Thursday at La Taza. We can’t think of a better way for you to spend your evening. See you there!
