It’s not always easy finding the balance between fine dining and the money you spend for it, but it’s always amazing when you come across those occasions. One of these is Charlottesville Restaurant Week, a bi-yearly event that has seemingly become a tradition in this town. For one week, January 23rd – 29th, 20 participating restaurants around C’ville will offer guests a three-course meal (appetizer, main entrée, and dessert) at a price of only $26. But what makes this event stand out even more is that for every Restaurant Week meal served, $1 will be donated to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
So, where can you go for Restaurant Week?Take a look at the participating restaurants. Even though the event is a week long, many of these restaurants can fill up with reservations fast, so call ahead as soon as you can; and make sure you mention ‘Restaurant Week’ in your reservation. Also, not everything on each restaurant’s menu is available at the $26 price. The chefs at these restaurants have created menus specific to the event, but you can still expect plenty of options if you are able to make it out to any of them. If you still have questions, feel free to look over the CRW’s additional notes on their website.
If you aren’t able to find any reservations by next week, don’t feel too bad, there will be another Restaurant Week later this year, from July 9th – 15th, so feel free to start planning ahead for that if you can.
A great meal at a good price. Plus, you help donate money to a local food bank. What’s not to like?
